Kyo Kara Maoh!

Summary

Yuri Shibuya was living a pretty normal life. That changed the day he was dunked into a toilet after an attempt to save a classmate from a gang of bullies. Instead of just getting a good soaking, he's pulled in. The next thing he knows, he's in a world that vaguely resembles medieval Europe. If that's not odd enough, he's told that he is to be the next Maoh, just because he has black hair and black eyes. The Maoh is the King of the Mazoku, who are coexisting not-so-peacefully with the humans in this world. Much to his subjects' dismay, he's totally different from the rulers they're accustomed to. He's kind, considerate, a believer in justice, and not willing to use violence to solve conflicts. Not exactly someone they want running a country on the very brink of war. Now, Yuri has to deal with trying to become a good Maoh, while at the same time attempting to adapt to this lands' customs and culture, all in a world where the tension between the humans and Mazoku is reaching its peak.

The story follows the adventures of 15-year old Yuuri Shibuya as he discovers his future in a world where demons and humans are fighting against one another when he becomes Great Demon King! But it make me laugh !!

Because the scene about when Wolfram von Bielefeld appeared at the Demon Kingdom, he ends up engaged to him due to a mishap. It is because Wolfram get angry that Yuuri has been chosen as the Maou; Great Demon King so he makes the mistake of insulting Yuuri's mother which earns him a slap. Unfortunately there is a noble rule of a Mazoku propose a marriage, it is by slapping another noble on his/her left cheek. Actually the slap was considered as unmanly but it is explained that Yuuri slapped Wolfram because he has a beautiful face, otherwise he would have punched him. Incensed by this insult, Wolfram challenges Yuuri to a duel, which is also mistakenly accepted because of Yuuri's unfamiliarity with Mazoku custom (he picked up the knife that fell off the table)!

It is funny..The culture in the Great Demon Kingdom is very different from the Japanese culture Yuri ! :D Yuuri is very funny but pity him because he have to marry Wolfram.. So, I think this anime is related with yaoi.. lol

But, when it happened to Yuri's friends, Yuri will awake as other person; Great Demon King! He will save Yuri's friends and also give the advice to the enemies! :O What a amazing power which Great Demon King has! Yuri really want to do make allies with human countries because demon and human always misunderstand and their war never be end.. He is really simple-minded but, his heart is very pure! But, it make me wonder who is the Great Demon King.. and how he can get power..? You will know it if you watch this anime! It is very nice story.. ;)


If you want to watch this anime, you have to know english name; God(?) Save Our King because we normally call it in english.. For Japan, they use Kyo Kara Maoh! only.. Now, AXN channel 715 released the anime Season 2 'God(?) Save Our King'. As u know, it is very popular in Japan because this story is comedy~! :)

Now, the Season 3 already be out..I will buy this anime when I am free! :D
