About Fruits BasketTohru Honda is a first year high school student when her mother dies, leaving her alone. Tohru chooses to live with her paternal gandfather, but when she sees that he is having house problems, she decides she doesn't want to burden him and begins to live in a tent in the forest. Tohru only wants to finish high school to make her mother proud. It turns out the land Tohru is staying on belongs to the Sohma family.
Yuki Sohma is the most popular boy in Tohru's school. When the Sohma's discover her tent they invite her to come live with them, and Tohru agrees as long as she is able to repay their kindness with her housekeeping skills. Through an accident, Tohru discovers that the Sohma family is cursed to turn into an animal from the Chinese zodiac when embraced by the opposite sex. Tohru quickly grows close to the family, and they become dear friends to her. Tohru struggles to keep the Sohma family secret and learn more about the family, but this may cause her much pain.

Fruits Basket is an interesting anime that made me laugh and moved T_T as the characters in FB almost have very painful experiences in their past life due to their curse of 12 animal zodiac in Sohma's Family!To explain it simply, the curse itself is a metaphor. The Sohma family is "cursed" with the inability to let anyone get close to them and always has to keep others at a distance (in fact, I'd say this is a common situation for many of us). Tohru's character is unique in that she teaches each of them how to be close to other people again and to trust them to show their real selves. This understated theme plays out so well that the end of the show actually feels unresolved. This may lead the viewer to a little bit of confusion and even resentment, but the idea behind the curse is presented so well that you understand everything that they have been through. You will know how/ why the cursed of 12 animals can happened to Sohma's family if you are watching anime or reading manga!
I really love this anime 'Fruits Basket'! Tohru still never give up..she don't care if anybody hurt her! She wants to protect everyone she likes.. ^ ^ She has two best friends who very protect her since her mother killed in the accident.. Sad, her mother's family still don't accept her. Her grandpa and Sohma's family still want to support her..See the pictures about the members of Sohmu's family- rat, cat, dragon, rabbit, tiger, goat, pig, monkey, dog, snake with Tohru..HAHA :P
As beginning of story, 10 cursed of members show up already.. but two members-animals; horse and ex-rooster will be come out in the last episodes.. I sure 11 Sohmu's members got cursed.. Other member already freed from being rooster during his teenager.. But, he still stay with Aktio, Head of Sohmu's family and he thought wants to give love to her..but this is not his real love, because he still feels pity on her only...Sohmu's generation family is very rich and famous because the cursed of 12 animals still bring many lucky/wealth come in...o_O but all members of Sohmu's family still keep the secret about the cursed of 12 animals because they don't want outside people and public know this.. If one know this truth, they will make one will forget the memories about what is related with Sohmu's family! It is really painful..:(
