Howl's Moving Castle

Summary

In town, 18-year-old Sophie is walking, keeping apart from the crowd. She is born and raised in the town lying at the edge of the Wasteland, she works at the hat shop of her deceased father. One day in town Sophie encounters the mysterious and dashing young Howl, who is trying to escape an unwanted pursuer. Suddenly the Witch of the Waste appears and, seeing Howl and Sophie together, appears uninvited to Sophie’s home later that evening and casts a spell on young Sophie, which turns her into a 90-year old woman overnight because the witch is jealous of Sophie... Unable to stay in her town unless her curse is discovered, Sophie packs up and heads toward the desolate Wasteland, where she eventually slips into Howl’s Moving Castle...

Hiding her true identity, Sophie becomes Howl’s live-in cleaning lady, shaking his home and unusual house-mates up with a feisty young attitude that defies her aged looks. As the true power of Howl’s wizardry is revealed, and his relationship with Sophie deepens, our young grey heroine finds herself fighting to protect them both from a dangerous war of sorcery that threatens their world!

How Sophia can break her own curse? She learns about how Howl and Calcifer, a small fire demon can make a contract since he is kid..then she discovers why Howl is unable to truly love anyone.. Markl, Howl’s 8-years-old boy apprentice and Turnip Head, magically scarecrow that will help her to find how to break Howl's curse too.. I also like to see about how a castle can moving from the place to another place!! :O The doors inside a castle also have different of dimension! :O

I really like this story because it is very meaningful and fantastic magic so, it is best of animation by Hayao Miyazaki. I think that there are the scenes show that a chain of exciting incidents whereupon threatens and at the same time strengthens the relationship of both Sophie and Howl.. I heard what my friends and sister about the soundtracks were manly orchestra music but the compositions were simply marvelous – especially the theme song! they liked the animation and songs..that is why it was very famous... As I know, Diana Wynne Jones novel "How's Moving Castle" was adapted by Hayao Miyazaki who is the famous animator and director of Totoro and Spirited Away in Japan.
