This story is about Haine Otomiya, a 15-year-old high school student at the elite private Imperial Academy (Teikoku Gakuen). Apparently sold to foster parents for fifty million yen, and a one-time, Haine reformed when she met Shizumasa Tōgū, who told her to live life how she wanted to. She fell in love with Shizumasa and entered the Imperial Academy to chase after him.
Now, Shizumasa is the Koutei Emperor of the school. Being the president of the student council and the only member of the gold class, he is the one who everyone looks up to. Through various circumstances Haine is tricked by one of the student council members into becoming his bodyguard and joining the student council. However, Shizumasa claims not to know her and is unexpectedly cold towards her.
I very like this manga 'Shinshi Doumei Cross'! because this story is very great~ It have romance, life-school and comedy. ^_^ I remembered that I read old manga 'Full Moon Wo Sagashite' since I studied MMU in my alpha year. It make me cry and laugh! but this story is really sad if you continue to read the episodes.. I am interested with this style of drawing... every character is very cute! Finally, new manga 'Shinshi Doumei Cross' already be out! Yaah!
I am surprised when I read this story..Haine is very hardworking girl so she wants to enter into the elite private school named 'Imperial Academy'!! It is not easy for her..The students are very rich and smart that can study in the school. Haine is not very clever but she still never give up! Why? She fell love on a emperor guy who studied in Imperial Academy! It is very hard for her because she always busy with her part-time job. Her adopted family is not very rich so they be middle-class only..Her real family is very rich and famous but they sold her to Otomiya's family! Her father don't want her again? Because she is oldest daughter who is stupid and hard to follow her father's step as she must take the title of successor. Sad..:( Haine still learned about how can become the elite student in the rich school..haha She always get bad points so she hard to climb up to get.. to closer the Emperor's place :P Many students don't like her because her personality and rumor about her real family! She hated her real father but she have to be alone..:( Lucikly, her best friend, Ushio Amamiya stills be with Haine. She is very understand her because she give support and believes her only than other friends.. She really hated it when she is admired and adored by many guys/girls in school..
Finally, she got become the member of the student council~ She got few challenges.. and have to face the vice president, Maguri because they always hated/ fight each other! But, Maguri really scare his childhood friend, Maora!! That is why Haine can get support by Maora and Ushio! Hehe..she found the truth about he only acts as Fake emperor/president but he is very alike with Real emperor!
Fake Emperor, Shizumasa and Haine can love each other? Or Haine is in love with Real emperor/president? It is not easy for her to decide who she will love with.. Shizumasa helped the real emperor for take a place as the president of school..but he feels that everything taken by real emperor because he don't have place for him in his family. Real emperor is very loved by his grandfather...That is why he hated real emperor in his family! What is happened to Haine if they still love her at same place?? How she explained to them? Haha You better to read this story if you want to know! :P

Maguri looks like nice guy to everyone but he likes to fight and seems to like arguing with Haine when he shows his real in the office..hehe.Fake emperor, Maora and Ushio very loved Haine! But, Maguri dont feel love with her because his place stolen by her? ^ ^;; hehe Maguri still never let Haine to see the fake emperor..Haha..Maybe he loves Haine or fake emperor? Maguri is very funny guy but his family is famous yakura! o_O He can fight so very well. Finally, Haine know him is 'gay'. She don't care about he is gay so they can become close friend! I think that maybe his love for Maora..it is mystery heheMaora - Accountant
Maora is a funny and happy-go-lucky character but she is very very mysterious on the outside. She loves to help and support people. Her parents are famous fashion designer~wow..That is why she love to design costumes and fashion! Maora is really a male!! why she dresses as 'girl' ? she is worried about Maguri will love her if she is 'male'. Haha Maora is serious with Haine..hehe She decided to make Haine as lover as the challenge to fake emperor! but, finally she gives up on her..so she back to her normal as 'girl' and become Haine's best friend. She knew Haine's heart for Fake / Real emperor only! She is very kind and don't mind if get hurt by Haine and everyone..She love to be happy around everyone!Ushio - Secretary
Ushio is Haine's best friend, who is very protective of her. She seems to regard Haine as being more than just a friend, although Haine herself doesn't realize it. She is most beautiful girl which is amazed by every student in her school. After Haine passed in a challenge of student council, she joined in the student council because she is very worried her if any happen to her in the office! Fake emperor, Maguri and Maora are very scare her because she will show her scary face if they like to bully Haine! That is why Haine also said 'I love you!!' to Ushio on many times..She is boring when she hears it..Haha But, Ushio will love with her? o_O Who knows it? :P Their friendship is great because they still grew up together. She dislike to called 'Lady Hydrangea' by guys because all guys want her become their girlfriend but she rejected all thousand of guys! She thinks it because her beauty only, not love...pity her.. :(Feel free to read this manga!
